Seated on top of the Dublin Mountains in the township of Glencullen, “Johnnie Fox’s” is famed as the highest pub in Ireland, established in 1798 it is also one of the oldest in Ireland, and it has hardly changed a bit. The area itself is steeped in history with “The Colonel’s House” in Glencullen (listed as a hideaway) for Michael Collins in the history books, with monoliths galore and even a “Giant’s Grave” on the scenic walks around the area.
